⎈ has an undergraduate degree;
⎈ is a sharp, analytical writer (editorial experience is a plus);
⎈ thrives in a fast-paced environment;
⎈ has demonstrable online and offline networking skills;
⎈ is able to work remotely and independently while part of a team; and
possesses excellent communication skills.
An understanding and passion for social video, history and historical images/archives, politics, broader African affairs and aesthetics, is a must. Familiarity with design and Adobe creative programs is a plus.
To apply, upload a CV and cover letter, including information about your social media handles if they are public. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide both written and practical responses to a case study, and to attend a face-to-face interview.
Applications close on the 12th of October, 2018, but apply early as we aim to fill the role before then.
This internship position is paid and open only to candidates based in Lagos. The internship starts as soon as possible, and will run for six months with potential to be extended. Interns are encouraged to work part-time (20 hours a week).
